Kevin Boyd - Wishing You The Best!
This Thursday, Washington State Soccer announced the addition of long-serving Legends Academy Director Kevin Boyd. Boyd will be working alongside Todd Shulenberger as the Assistant Coach to help build off its historic 2019 campaign that saw the team play its way to the College Cup while finishing No. 4 in the country. “I am looking forward to joining Washington State especially following the final four run. I feel like I can add a little bit more and contribute to the program. Washington State is a program I know very well through my time within the Pac and it’s a program that has been quite successful throughout the years.”
Kevin leaves our club after 3 years of not only running our organization's US Soccer Development Academy Program, but also coaching our WPSL Semi-Professional team. He has played an integral role in shaping the lives of countless young athletes that have passed through both our Development Academy and Girls College ID Camp and moved on to prestigious collegiate soccer programs including Oregon State, Notre Dame, Cal, UCLA, USC, Long Beach State, Washington State and more.
He has left a positive, lasting impression on this club both on and off the field. Talented athletes, aspiring coaches, familiar staff and hopeful parents will all dearly miss Kevin and the experience he brought to our organization. We are sure he will have great success in his new position with the Washington State Soccer program and the club wishes him and his family the best in this new endeavor. Thank you Kevin!
