HAWKS SC JOINS LEGENDS FC TO FORM LEGENDS TEMECULA VALLEY
Temecula, CA, January 3, 2020 – Legends FC is excited to announce the joining together of two great leadership groups that are committed to building the strongest soccer program in the Temecula Valley. Through this collaboration, Legends Temecula Valley will field over 50 competitive teams, have strong player pools in every age group and gender, and clearly defined local and National player pathways to achieve their goals.
“This reminds me back when Legends FC was formed in 2007. The leadership roles, combination of boys and girls, coaching depth, and similar programming was just a perfect fit and I see that here as well. They already have a track record of success on their own and will be even more impactful together.”
Legends Temecula Valley will start in 2020. It will be lead by David Halliday (Regional Director of Coaching), Jenny Lawlor (Regional Program Director, Director of Girls), Ryan Halliday (Director of Boys) and Kelley Collins (Director of Administration).
“After coaching in Temecula Valley for 30 years and seeing how the landscape has changed we have decided to join together with Legends FC. This gives us the opportunity to join a first class organization and provide a top program for Temecula and its surrounding areas.”
"Growing up playing in Temecula and coaching here my entire career I have become extremely passionate about helping the players in our local community reach their goals and dreams. I see the same passion from David and his entire organization and I am excited to work with them and what we can accomplish together," said Jenny Lawlor, Girls Director.
"I am extremely excited to be a part of this new journey. Legends and Hawks have had great achievements throughout the years and we will be even stronger together. We are united with common goals to provide our players with the best opportunities for development and growth on and off the field," said Ryan Halliday, Boys Director.
A collaboration of this scale is done first and foremost with the interests of our players, our families, our coaching staffs, and our community in mind. Bringing together these two youth soccer organizations in Temecula Valley creates avenues for ALL youth players to benefit within our local community. The vision is to not only build the Temecula Valley’s strongest youth soccer program but keep the talent local, be a Regional and National level competitor, and give every player a chance to reach their highest potential.
Our family centered approach, backed with a national level program and elite level coaching, provides a positive playing and learning environment that fosters long term player development and personal growth. Thousands of players have benefited greatly from their exposure to the Legends program with many playing at the highest level of collegiate and professional competition, and many more leading very successful business and personal lives.The club has experienced exponential growth across Southern California since its founding in 2007, and that growth takes a major step forward with the expansion of Legends Temecula Valley.
