The Development of Girls 2011 West

The Girls 2011 West team has developed significantly over the past year, which has carried them into a successful first half of the Fall season. After playing futsal all Spring, they played three tournaments over the summer, having championship performances at the Copa Del Mar and West Coast Classic, and taking 2nd place at the Brea Kick-Off.

After the tournaments, beach practices, and pool parties that summer provided, they took off into Fall league. They have had some great showings and continue to develop, holding strong with a record of 5-1-1 at the halfway point of the season.

The team took a day last week to go watch Chapman University women's soccer team play and had the opportunity to be on the field with the players for the national anthem, tour the facilities, and scrimmage on the field at half time.
