Congratulations to LA Legends PDL players Ross Schunk and Jared Karkas!

Schunk became the only division III collegiate player drafted  (47th overall pick) and Karkas (31st pick) the lone NAIA player to be selected in the MLS SuperDraft. (photo on top is Schunk)  Read complete articles here: Schunk , Karkas.

Kevin Gallaugher, a junior at Cal State Dominguez Hills (2008 NCAA II Champions), was named "2008 NCAA II Player of the Year" as well as "Most Outstanding Defensive Player" in the 2008 NCAA Division II Championship Tournament. Gallaugher played 13 matches for the Legends.

LA Legends defender Eric Winblad was named the "2008 NAIA Brine Player of the Year." Winblad is a junior at Azusa Pacific University and played 9 matches for the Legends.
