Solórzano was one of five players chosen in the supplemental draft in mid-January.  He attended the Chivas Combine in mid-December and felt he played well. "I kept it simple,  worked hard on defense and I didn’t lose the ball, " says Solórzano adding,  "Preki said to me, if he became Coach he’d definitely give me a shot."

Solórzano wore #15 for the LA Storm, played center-mid and was named Captain at mid-season.

He’ll report for pre-season training with Chivas USA on Monday the 5th. To make the most of the opportunity he’s taken this quarter off from his studies at UC Riverside.
